Chinese tyre manufacturer Linglong Tire (Linglong) recently held a commissioning event for Hubei Linglong TBR manufacturing base in Jingmen, China, as well as the Linglong Tire Global Partner Conference, themed New Channels, New Layout and Create the Future.
As Linglong’s fourth domestic base, Hubei Linglong is an intelligent “green” factory thatwill promote the company’s transformation and upgrade to high-end production. The factory is to have an annual capacity of passenger car radial and truck/bus radial tyres reaching 12 million units and 2.4 million units each and another 60,000 units of OTR tyres, with a total estimated sales revenue of some US$710 million.
Wang Feng, Chairman of Linglong Tire, said that the company would strive for the early completion of the Hubei factory and speed up construction of other projects. Linglong currently has four manufacturing bases in China, one in Thailand and one in Serbia, as part of its 5+3 Global Strategic Layout (five Chinese manufacturing bases and three overseas manufacturing bases).
