Kurz initiates low volume tyre collection in Germany

A certified scrap tyre disposal company based in Germany, Kurz Karkassenhandel (Kurz), has opened up to private tyre collection with its new online inquiry tool which allows pick-up and proper disposal of individual waste tyres. The new initiative by Kurz keeps tyres in a circular economy and ensures the environment is sustainably protected.

Kurz has been committed to responsible waste tyre disposal for years as tyres contain valuable raw materials including rubber, steel and even fabric. Once broken down, each material can be repurposed to create high-quality and practical products such as sealants, rubberised asphalt, sports field surfaces, and shoe soles.

With Kurzs’ online tool, private individuals, small businesses and farms can be rid of their old, worn-out tyres quickly, safely, and sustainably, all the while ensuring a functioning raw material cycle. Regardless of the tyre type – whether passenger car, light truck, truck, or agricultural tyres – their collection will be handled by Kurz within a radius of 25 kilometres around Landau and Wendlingen.

Additionally, the standard fees for disposal, some of which are relatively high, are kept within reasonable limits. The collection of waste tyres can also be commissioned for fewer than 20 tyres.
