Post Hartalega Holdings will triple its current annual capacity of rubber gloves to 29.1 billion pieces. The project is expected to begin in 2013 and will be completed by 2021 at an estimated cost of US$490 million and will consist of 70 new high-tech production lines.
The project would be divided into two four-year phases. Phase 1 would see the building of 40 production lines with a total annual capacity of 14 billion pieces and in phase 2, another 30 production lines would be added with a total annual capacity of 38 billion pieces.(PRA)
