During that time, Goodyear has put a halt to its plant near Dalian, in China because of the plant’s lack of ability to expand because of the located and decided to replace it with a larger and more modern plant.

According to Goodyear, the new facility will double the production capacity of the old plant in Dalian. Dalian plant’s capacity was 15,000 tyres a day or about 5.4 million a year. The plant is expected to produce 1 million truck tyres a year.
